What cookies we use
Cookie consent (first-party, localStorage): When you accept or decline cookies, we store your preference in your browser's localStorage so we don't ask again. This is not a tracking cookie.
Cloudflare (infrastructure): Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set a security cookie (_cfuvid, __cf_bm) to protect the site from malicious traffic. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how pages are used in aggregate. GA4 operates under Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are not set until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are placed and no data is sent to Google. If you accept, GA4 measures page views, session length, and similar aggregate statistics — no personal information is stored.
Affiliate and retailer cookies
Some pages contain affiliate links to Amazon, AWIN-network retailers, and CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) merchants. When you click one of these links and visit the retailer's site, that retailer may set their own tracking cookies on your device as part of their affiliate programme.
